Global LNG-Spot prices steady above $7 as winter approaches | Markets | Reuters: "NEW YORK, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Spot prices of liquefied natural gas in Asia steadied this week after rising in November as importers bolstered stocks toward winter, traders and analysts said on Thursday.

Ex-ship deliveries for December were seen about $7.50 per million British thermal units, off slightly from deals seen near $8 per mmBtu in late November.

Spot LNG prices fell from highs above $22 per mmBtu mid-2008 to around $4 this summer as falls in industrial demand in the large consumer nations Japan and Korea left the market oversupplied."
